Question Box

Does this scenario sound familiar?

The teacher asks us if there are any questions and we all say ‘no‘ but what really goes inside my head is something along the lines of: ‘…well, I don’t have a question now because I don’t know yet if I do have any‘. Then, when driving back home or just about to fall asleep said question hits me in the face like a brick but there isn’t much that can be done then. After all, the teacher isn’t very likely to pick up the phone in the middle of the night to explain to me the difference between defining and non-defining relative clauses.

The chances are you’ve been in such sort of dilemma at some point, so here’s a bit of help. Whenever you feel you need a bit of extra help with a class topic, you can come here and leave your question as a comment. More importantly, you have the chance to help your mates -and yourself, of course- by also answering their questions or adding to them. Remember that there are lots of different ways to study.
